Public Art
The Golden Triangle seeks to enliven the neighborhood with art and design through partnerships with area businesses and the arts community. Some of the BID's recent public art initiatives include light art at the Farragut West Metro entrance on 17th Street, transforming call boxes into art, holding competitions that resulted in the installation of creative bike racks and turning an alley wall into canvases for funky art. With another project in the works to bring substantial public art to the entrance of Farragut North Metro station, the Golden Triangle BID will continue to seek opportunities to create a more vibrant community through art and design in public space.
