Public Art
The Golden Triangle seeks to enliven the neighborhood with art and design through partnerships with area businesses and the arts community. Some of the BID's recent public art initiatives include transforming call boxes into art, holding a competition that resulted in the selection of a design for a creative bike rack installed at Dupont Circle Metro station's South entrance, and turning an alley wall into a canvas for funky art. With another project in the works to bring substantial public art to the entrance of Farragut North Metro station, the Golden Triangle BID will continue to seek opportunities to create a more vibrant community through art and design in public space.
