Le Pain Quotidien serves simple, elegant boulangerie fare—soup, salads, tartines, breakfast, homemade pastries and handmade organic bread—made with organic ingredients whenever possible. The menu includes many vegan and vegetarian options. The concept remains essentially unchanged since founder Alain Coumont opened the first Le Pain Quotidien in Brussels, Belgium in 1990: bakery and communal table, breakfast, brunch and lunch. With its shared tables, artisanal dishes and tranquil environment, Le Pain Quotidien transports its customers to the Belgian countryside.
