Emergency Preparedness Fair
Emergencies are never expected, but you can always be prepared. On Wednesday, September 16 (rain date Thursday, September 17), join the Golden Triangle BID at Farragut Square Park from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. to participate in the Emergency Preparedness Fair. The Emergency Preparedness Fair will feature representatives from numerous DC agencies including the Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA), Serve DC, Metropolitan Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Health, Department of Transportation, and Metro who can offer tips and answer questions. At the Fair, downtown workers will receive imperative information on personal and business preparedness to ensure they are ready for everything from a flu pandemic to a terrorist attack.
