LifeStraw® Demonstration Free Saturdays @ 2pm & 3pm: June 12 & 26 Saturday @ 2pm: July 10, August 7 Wednesdays @ 11am: July 14 & 28, August 11 & 25 Watch dirty water become drinkable as you learn about worldwide efforts to increase access to clean and safe water. About half of the world’s poor suffer from waterborne diseases, and more than 6,000 people, mainly children, die each day by consuming unsafe drinking water. Created by Vestergaard Frandsen, the LifeStraw® Family and the LifeStraw® remove over 99% of bacteria, viruses, and parasites from surface water. LifeStraw® is a portable water filtration device that provides access to safe drinking water for individuals outside the home. LifeStraw® Family allows families to create their own homemade drinking water and will last for approximately three years. Committed to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, Vestergaard Frandsen is a Europe-based international company specializing in complex emergency response and disease control products.
