New work by Donna K. McGee will be exhibited at the Foundry Gallery September 1 through the 26. The show, Abstract Blues, presents a new palette for McGee. Her new work is organic in nature and evokes images of underwater scenes. It is meditative and yet reveals new images as the eye explores the canvas. Using an occasionally bold but generally muted palette of blues, greens and texture, she offers images that appear marked by the passage of time.
