Emergency Preparedness Fair

Emergencies are never expected, but you can always be prepared. On Wednesday, September 16 (rain date Thursday, September 17), join the Golden Triangle BID at Farragut Square Park from noon to 2:00 p.m. to participate in the Emergency Preparedness Fair.  At the Fair, downtown workers will receive imperative information on personal and business preparedness to ensure they are ready for everything from a flu pandemic to a terrorist attack. Green and Blue boutique is launching a men's collection. They will carry known brands like Citizens of Humanity, Sea of NYC, Vernacular and Just a Cheap Shirt. Thursday Night Social Club

After a two month summer hiatus, the Mayflower Hotel's monthly themed happy hours will kick off on September 3 by paying homage to Farmer’s Market Finds, which will feature local ingredients from the Dupont Circle and Mount Pleasant farmer’s markets. During the evening, guests can enjoy Executive Chef Abdellah Aguenaou’s abundant selection of delicious cuisine crafted around his personal farmer’s market finds, specialty Ketel One Vodka cocktails, live piano music, and great company.
