Ana Polanco:
Beauty 360

Ana Polanco has always been interested in the beauty industry. She went to modeling school, attended beauty school and then became the Director of Admissions, distributed professional beauty products and helped open a day spa. It is only natural that this Long Island native is now managing CVS/pharmacy's new luxury beauty store Beauty 360. The upscale shop at 1350 Connecticut Avenue was the first Beauty 360 store to open in the nation. It offers high-end cosmetics, fragrances and skin and hair care products for men and women and provides quick beauty services for customers on the go. Ana says that Beauty 360 doesn't just want to make its customers look great, it also wants them to feel great. Many of the products are 100% natural and environmentally-friendly and none are tested on animals. Ana says that what really sets Beauty 360 apart from other beauty stores is its extraordinary customer service. "Our team of licensed technicians and beauty consultants gives customers unique one on one consultations, but we also just let them play," she says. In addition to making people look and feel great, Ana and her team are giving back to the community. Beauty 360 partnered with the American Heart Association to educate customers about heart disease prevention, and just last weekend, the store hosted Fashion Fights Poverty and Goodwill of Greater Washington's "Fashion Swap" to collect clothing for those less fortunate in our community.
